Marval O'Farrell Mairal participated as advisor of Megainver and QM Asset Management, two leading mutual fund management companies, in their merger process, which resulted in the incorporation of QM Asset Management into Megainver.
The merger will provide the two companies with the possibility to offer greater advantages and better products to investors, while enhancing the companies' participation in the capital markets.
The common vision between the two companies that lead them to merge is to consolidate a leading position in the mutual fund industry.
This merger also represents a milestone, since it is the first merger in Argentina between two of the most important mutual fund management companies that have been operating for several years and are well known in the market.
Marval O'Farrell Mairal acted as legal advisor of the transaction through a team led by partner Roberto E. Silva, with the collaboration of Francisco Abeal, Martin I. Lanus (currently working as foreign associate, in United States), and Pablo Lapiduz.
