On December 1, as decided at the firm’s Partners Meeting, Marval O’Farrell Mairal appointed partner Iris Quadrio to its Board of Directors, which will now have a total of 8 members.
Iris is a highly experienced and well-respected professional. She has been a partner at Marval since 1998, specializing in Intellectual Property and advising domestic and foreign clients mainly in the field of trademark law. Iris is also an active member of numerous leading organizations and has been awarded several recognitions throughout her career both in the field of intellectual property and that of diversity and inclusion.
She has recently received the President’s Award from the International Trademark Association (INTA) for being “an accomplished attorney, an inspirational leader, and an exceptional person. As a stalwart supporter of the Association, she has helped bring INTA to new heights over the years. She is an outstanding mentor who works very hard to ensure that the INTA community is welcoming for trademark attorneys from around the world. Her pursuit of excellence, both for herself and for the Association, is without question.”
