Martinelli Advogados strengthens business disputes and tax litigation capabilities with arrival of new partners

Martinelli Advogados has announced the appointment of André Frossard Albuquerque and Sérgio Grama Lima as partners, reinforcing two areas that have become increasingly critical for companies: the management of strategic disputes and tax litigation.

André Frossard Albuquerque joins the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice, where he will focus on corporate and commercial litigation as well as arbitration proceedings involving complex business relationships. “I am pleased to join the firm and contribute to the continued development of its strategic litigation, arbitration and mediation practices, advising clients in pre-litigation stages and in high-stakes business disputes,” Frossard said. Over the course of his career, he has represented companies in disputes related to corporate contracts, corporate restructurings and conflicts arising from significant commercial transactions.

The firm’s tax practice is also strengthened with the arrival of Sérgio Grama Lima, who joins the tax litigation team. With more than 18 years of experience in tax advisory work and the management of tax disputes, Lima has built his career both in private practice and within the legal departments of multinational companies. He holds degrees in Law and Accounting, is registered with the Regional Accounting Council of São Paulo (CRC/SP) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Tax Law. “I look forward to contributing to the team and supporting our clients and partners at a time when the Brazilian tax landscape is undergoing significant transformation,” Lima commented.
