MARIMÓN ABOGADOS BILLED EUR 8.9 MILLON IN 2017
The turnover was 5.63% higher than the preceding year. The most dynamic areas were M&A, Real Estate and Administrative Law.
Spain, 14 February.- Marimón Abogados closed FY 2017 with a turnover of EUR 8.9 million, that is, 5.63% over the previous year.
Also, Marimón Abogados increased its staff by 10%, reaching almost 80 professionals in its offices in Madrid, Seville and Barcelona. Antonio Alcolea joined the firm as partner and Head of the Administrative and Regulated Sectors Department in the Madrid office, which has strengthened this area.
The most dynamic legal areas last year were M&A, Real Estate and Administrative Law, which experienced the highest growth. Similarly, the international desks had an outstanding performance, especially the German Desk, that includes major multinational companies to which Marimón Abogados provides its services.
Luis Marimón, Marimón Abogados’ Managing Director, says the following regarding the firm’s 2017 turnover: “The solid, consistent growth this firm has experienced in the last few years is driving our corporate development, which will translate into new recruits and the upcoming move to new premises in Barcelona in 2018. The new office space in Barcelona will double the current one, which will allow us to grow even more”.
Likewise, as regards the current trends in the market, that will have a positive impact on the firm’s business, the Managing Director points out: “In 2018 we expect this dynamic to continue in the M&A market, not only for foreign companies, but also among Spanish companies as they increase their transactions”.
