MOYE WHITE PARTNER NEXT COLORADO BAR BUSINESS LAW SECTION CHAIR
DENVER (July 8, 2022) – Moye White LLP is pleased to announce that Lucas T. Ritchie has been elected chair of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA) Business Law Section after serving as Chair of the Litigation Section.
Ritchie, who served as chair of the Litigation Section in 2020, will begin his Business Law chair role on July 1, 2022, and will hold the position until June 30, 2023. These two sections are the largest sections within the CBA; the Business Law Section has approximately 1,750 members, while the Litigation Section has about 1,580 members.
In the past, Ritchie has been co-chair of the CBA’s Securities Law Subsection and a member of the CBA’s Board of Governors, and has sat on the Executive Council of the Business Law Section.
In his practice, Ritchie represents companies and financial services clients, as well as individuals in regulatory investigations and complex commercial litigation. His experience includes prosecuting and defending claims involving federal and state securities laws, fraud, corporate governance, business torts and business “divorce.”
