Natalia Mikołajczyk, a US qualified lawyer, has joined the Warsaw dispute resolution practice as an associate. Prior to joining Linklaters, Natalia practiced international and investment arbitration in the top arbitration groups in London and Paris, as well as served as a secretary to arbitral tribunals. Natalia has a broad non-contentious experience, including advising clients in commercial, corporate and intellectual property matters and a solid track record of pro-bono work. She is fluent in Polish, English and French. After graduating with a Master’s degree from University of Warsaw, Natalia obtained her LL.M. degree from UC Berkeley School of Law, where she specialised in international and IP law. Natalia is admitted to the New York Bar, and she is currently in the process of admission to the Warsaw Bar as a foreign lawyer.

Cezary Wiśniewski, Warsaw senior partner, notes: “International arbitration has been in the forefront of our practice strategy for many years. Currently, as the number of arbitration cases grows and the investors interest in the protection offered by investment treaties increases, we need to match the market demand for dynamic multi-jurisdictional teams able to serve cross-border mandates in a cost-efficient manner. Our recent successful representation of PL Holdings, a subsidiary of Abris Capital Partners, in a high-profile investment arbitration against Poland, is the best evidence of Linklaters strength in this area. I am confident that Natalia’s international experience will contribute to the development of our arbitration practice and will further supplement the unique offering of skillsets for our clients.”
