No legal opinions or pleadings were discussed when SyCipLaw lawyers enjoyed an afternoon immersed in the collection of contemporary art on exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila (The M) in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, last March 16, 2024.

Organized by the firm's Associate Engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committees in conjunction with The M (a pro bono client of SyCipLaw), the tour showcased Annie Cabigting's thought-provoking exhibit "When We Look at Art..." as well as key pieces from The M's permanent collection.

In the short program before the guided tours, The M president, Ms. Florentina Colayco, provided a brief history of the museum, its transfer from its Roxas Boulevard home to its new BGC location, and its goals for art and the community. She thanked SyCipLaw's support for The M over the years, noting the assistance of SyCipLaw partner and The M Corporate Secretary Emmar Benjoe B. Panahon and senior associate Mark Kevin U. Dellosa.

Partner and CSR Committee member Ma. Patricia B. Paz-Jacoba also shared a few words during the program, observing the importance of encouraging law professionals to look and volunteer for pro bono projects where they could apply their time and talent and become agents of positive change.

The tours were led by The M's experienced and engaging guides Randel Urbano and Alec Abarro.
