Kinstellar’s Bratislava office has recently advised the Austrian company European City Estates (ECE) on its acquisition of the Rosum office complex in Bratislava from Penta Real Estate.
ECE European City Estates is a group of companies owned by the Austrian Humer Private Foundation. ECE’s long-term investment strategy focuses on prime properties and historical buildings in European city centres.
Rosum comprises 22,000 m² of prime office premises currently leased to News and Media Holding, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Covestro, Nestlé, and GGE, among others, as well as 1,230 m² of retail space.
Kinstellar advised on deal structuring, due diligence, and negotiation of the entire M&A, as well as on financing transaction documentation. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
The transaction was signed and closed in a record time of nine weeks. Dejan Mansfeld-Rupnik, Managing Director of ECE, commented: “We highly appreciate the very professional and effective transaction support provided by the Kinstellar team, especially considering the very short time we had for preparing and executing the transaction.”
The Kinstellar team in Bratislava was managed by Viliam Myšička (Partner) and Vladimír Polička (Managing Associate) and consisted of Martin Koša (Senior Associate) and junior members of the Bratislava team.
