has been to the Federal Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panel – Fort Lauderdale for the upcoming reappointment of Magistrate Judge Lurana S. Snow.
The panel is charged with making a recommendation to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida regarding the reappointment or non-reappointment of Judge Snow. Sale joins just six other attorneys on the panel.
Sale will serve as a member of the JNC Southern District. Co-Chair of Broad and Cassel’s White Collar Defense and Compliance department, Sale is a leading white collar criminal defense attorney experienced in representing corporations and individuals in grand jury investigations and in diverse and complex criminal litigation. He has extensive experience with internal investigations and Department of Justice policies and procedures. Additionally, he has represented clients in almost every substantive area of concentration, including health care fraud, securities fraud, financial institution fraud, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, money laundering, criminal anti-trust violations, tax fraud, mortgage fraud and various fraudulent investment schemes.
