Thomson Geer acted for Jet Zero Australia Pty Ltd (Jet Zero) on its placement of securities to sophisticated and professional investors, including Qantas, Airbus and Idemitsu, raising A$29 million.


Thomson Geer advised Jet Zero on all aspects of the deal, including:

•            Review of the mandate with the lead manager.

•            Preparing all documentation required to effect and complete the transaction.

•            Assisting with negotiation of documentation.

•            Reviewing FIRB advice.

•            Cross border jurisdiction advice.


The purpose of the offer was to provide Jet Zero with funding to advance the engineering activities of Jet Zero' flagship Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project, Project Ulysses, in North Queensland, Australia and progress other renewable fuel projects, including the project recently announced with Apeiron Bioenergy.
