Paris, September 5, 2019 – Jeantet advised EB – Sustainable Investment Management GmbH alongside the German firm Pöllath + Partners in the acquisition of a 70.15 MW wind farm portfolio located in France from the German wind developer Volkswind GmbH.
The wind power portfolio being acquired includes a total of four wind farms located respectively in the departments of Aisne (with an installed capacity of 18 MW and 24.15 MW), Oise (with an installed capacity of 24 MW) and Vendée (25% stake in a wind farm with an installed capacity of 16 MW). The fleets have already been commissioned
and feed-in tariff and additional remuneration contracts have been concluded. The transaction has already been authorised by the authorities concerned and the financing banks.
EB - Sustainable Investment Management GmbH is the investment advisor of EB Sustainable Funds Luxembourg S.A., SICAV-SIF, an investment fund attached to Evangelische Bank eG, the banking institution of the German Evangelical Church. This recently created fund aims to invest, on behalf of its investors, in renewable energy projects ready to be built or in operation, mainly in France and Germany.
