Paris, October 29th, 2020 – Jeantet Moscow has advised Kingfisher, international retail company, on sale of its entire Russian business (Castorama Rus) to Maxidom LLC, a leading home improvement company in Russia.
Kingfisher Group, a major home improvement company, operates in eight countries across Europe through approximately 1,350 stores and a team of 74,000 employees.
Castorama Rus operates 19 stores in Russia, namely, in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, the Moscow region, in the Urals (Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk) and the Lower Volga region (Samara, Kazan) with a team of 3,000 employees.
The Jeantet team was led by David Lasfargue (M&A – Moscow), and included Maria Yadykina (Counsel – Moscow) and Anastasia Kostyleva (Senior Associate – Moscow).
