Paris, September 21, 2021, Jeantet advised Inventory Planner, a leading e-commerce inventory management and forecasting company, and its shareholders on the sale of Inventory Planner to the Brightpearl group, enabling the latter to broaden its technological offering by integrating an inventory management software for e-commerce players.
This is a first step in its longer-term strategy to make Brightpearl the market leader in retail e-commerce.
Founded in 2007 in the UK, Brightpearl has developed an automated management platform dedicated to business professionals: financial management, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), order processing and fulfilment, purchasing and supplier management, stock and inventory management tools, and logistics solutions.
Inventory Planner has 2,060 customers, 60% of whom have a turnover of between $1 million and $100 million. Its customers are e-commerce players who use its software to quickly visualise trends and help them manage their inventory.
Jeantet team was led by Stephen Walters (partner), assisted by Victoria Régis and
Stanislas Chaudun (associates), Jean-Guillaume Follorou (partner) and Gabriel di
Chiara (counsel) on the tax aspects.
