New York, NY (March 28, 2018) – Partner Jaimee Nardiello of construction law firm Zetlin and De Chiara LLP has been selected as an honoree at City & State’s 7th Annual Above & Beyond Gala, receiving the Above & Beyond Award for Outstanding Women in Real Estate.
Ms. Nardiello is one of thirty remarkable women honored for their achievements at the ceremony.
Honorees are women who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in their professional lives or
through public service and who have distinguished themselves through their professional
accomplishments across various sectors.
Ms. Nardiello falls into both categories. In her law practice, Ms. Nardiello focuses on protecting the
rights of design professionals, contractors, owners and other members of the industry in litigation –
where she stands out as a woman in New York’s male dominated construction industry. She has
successfully defended clients against several hundred million dollars in claims--winning dismissals,
mitigating liability, and preserving reputations. As the current President of CREW New York, she is
striving to make a mark on society by bolstering women in the commercial real estate industry.
An accomplished author, last year’s Guide to Federal Government Construction Contracts, published by The American Bar Association (ABA), includes Ms. Nardiello’s chapter on the complexities of architect-engineer (A-E) contracting. This spring, she’ll be featured in The Construction Lawyer, an ABA magazine,as co-author of “Key Considerations for the Use of Peer Reviews in Construction.”
