February 2, 2024 -- Coral Gables, FL -- Yesterday, Agentis's Managing Partner, Jacqueline Calderín, was honored at Philanthropy Miami's esteemed 2024 Donor Next Door ceremony. More than 300 people attended the 27th annual awards event at Miami-Dade College's Wolfson Campus in Downtown Miami.
Calderín was recognized for her remarkable generosity and steadfast commitment to the New World School of The Arts (NWSA), leaving an enduring impact on the community. Her dedication is a beacon of inspiration, motivating others to aspire to greater heights and contribute meaningfully to society. "We are immensely proud of Jacqui's achievement and her tireless efforts in championing youth, education, and the arts," said one of the founding partners, Robert Charbonneau. "Her commitment to making a positive difference is a testament to the values we hold dear at Agentis."
New World School of the Arts is a public magnet high school and college in Downtown Miami and a center of artistic and academic excellence in dance, music, theatre, and visual arts. Calderín joined the NWSA Foundation Board of Directors in 2017. In 2021, Calderín became the Chair of the New World School of the Arts Foundation Board, where she helped the organization transition out of the global pandemic, which dramatically affected public schools and funding for the arts.
