INTEGRITES protected interests of one of the largest Indian producers and exporters of medical equipment, Lifelong Meditech, in the safeguard investigation. Initiated by the Ukrainian producer Hemoplast, the investigation related to the import of syringes in Ukraine.
Having supported Lifelong Meditech at all stages of the investigation, the International Trade team at INTEGRITES implemented the strategy with elements of both legal and economic protection of the client. As a result, no safeguard measures have been applied to the client.
The outcome of the case enables Lifelong Meditech to continue operations on the Ukrainian market and preserve its market share. It will also positively influence the competition allowing consumer access to different types of syringes.
