Posse Herrera Ruiz acted as Colombian legal advisor to InfraRed Infrastructure Fund III, a private capital fund leader in global investment focused on infrastructure and real estate, in the execution of the agreement to purchase a 50% interest in the Perimetral de Oriente de Cundinamarca project, a $610m road project in Colombia, in partnership with Shikun & Binui.
This project is part of the 4G Public Private Partnership highway programme and involves the financing, restoration, construction and improvement of a toll road concessionaire for a toll east of Bogotá, an infrastructure project that covers around 148km of existing brownfield corridor and 5km of greenfield bypass.
The project is being financed with non-recourse project finance debt through a combination of US dollars and Colombian pesos with leading international and local financial institutions.
