Shearman & Sterling advised I Squared Capital in connection with the acquisition and combination of Mateen Cloud Ventures and Infofabrica Holdings, two Singapore-based Cloud migration services companies, via its ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund II. The combined businesses will become a leading Cloud migration and managed services provider in Southeast Asia and India, providing capability across all major public Cloud operators.
The investments are part of a new Asian digital infrastructure platform and will enable I Squared Capital’s digital infrastructure companies to offer comprehensive cloud-based solutions to the clients. The cloud platform will have a pool of over 300 professionals. The acquisitions take I Squared Capital’s investments to the digital infrastructure sector to over $2.6 billion.
