Hurwitz, Sagarin, Slossberg & Knuff land use attorneys John Knuff, partner and Sara Sharp, associate, secured approvals from the Milford Planning & Zoning Commission that will enable their client – CDP Milford, LLC – to completely reimagine a forlorn shopping center at 579 Bridgeport Avenue in Milford with a challenging history that other developers could not or would not overcome. The multi-family development includes a 192-unit community and a dramatically improved retail/commercial environment.

The redevelopment of the center required a creative approach by the client and team, requiring John and Sara to obtain zone change, regulation amendment, subdivision, special permit, site plan, and inland wetland approvals  This residential development will help propel the city’s revitalization, beautification, and economic development efforts in the area, while significantly improving the site’s environmental condition.

This is a huge win for the client, the city of Milford, and its residents.
