By securing Kumar’s leadership, the firm enhances its ability to support clients through increasingly complex and high-stakes disputes, reinforcing the firm’s reputation for delivering strategic, commercially attuned, and cost-effective solutions across a wide range of contentious matters.
Kumar is a distinguished Dispute Resolution lawyer with over 30 years of experience and has been consistently highly ranked by several reputable international legal directories for his expertise. He brings to HHQ a wealth of experience in complex, high-value disputes, including acting as counsel in one of Malaysia’s most significant and widely reported fraud case involving large-scale misappropriation of public funds. Previously, he was a partner at another prominent Malaysian law firm. His core practice areas include fraud and asset recovery, maritime and shipping, commercial litigation and arbitration, as well as employment.
