"Grimaldi Alliance is born..... it is the first time that an Italian professional firm is able to provide such a broad geographic coverage in Italy and abroad, with such a unique mix of skills: a true one-stop shop, owing to all the services offered and the Countries covered: the key factor differentiating Grimaldi Alliance is its mix of competences and the interdisciplinary approach it can offer in all sectors, at national and international level, unique in its kind".

Grimaldi Alliance's practice areas are: corporate and M&A, corporate crisis, tax, banking & finance, litigation and arbitration, labour law and labour relations, PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) and public financing, cybersecurity and AI, antitrust/EU law, administrative and public economic law, and advocacy.

Equally important are the economic sectors in which Grimaldi Alliance is structured to offer a one-stop shop to public and private, national and international clients in all its offices: energy, public procurement and utilities, real estate, infrastructure and transport, as well as the pharmaceutical, digital, agricultural, distribution and media sectors.

"In all these sectors, we are able to assist clients starting from the development phase of their projects, as well as in their public or market financing, by addressing regulatory issues, managing acquisitions or disposals, quotations, as well as public and private litigation, employment and tax matters. We know how to support clients in their development phase as well as in their divestment or crisis phase. We have a flexible approach to managing our professional fees, which are always closely linked to the usefulness of our professional support”, states the Managing Partner Francesco Sciaudone.

These are the figures of the new professional firm that Francesco Sciaudone has built over the last 3 years (6 offices opened in the last 18 months: Naples, Turin, Treviso, Padua, Verona, Paris, with about 150 new professionals), developing the activity of Grimaldi Studio Legale:

  • Since January, Grimaldi Alliance also operates in 3 new Countries: Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador.

The new year also sees the launch of the Grimaldi Alliance Internship Programme, whereby the aim is to recruit one new professional per month, for each office, for the purposes of recruiting at least 100 new professionals in the year 2023.

The year also begins with many new events!

Our growth is boosted, in fact, with the arrival of three new partners: Claudio Piacentini in Turin, Francesco Conti in Milan and Rosaria Arancio in Rome.

Claudio Piacentini and his team have a great deal of experience in public and private contract law, assisting and representing companies and administration offices before administrative and ordinary courts, both in the award phase and in the execution phase of public contracts. They also have experience in companies with publicly owned shareholdings, public-private partnerships and in liability proceedings before the Court of Auditors.

Francesco Conti, who joins the Firm with a team of 4 associates, specializes in real estate and privacy issues. Francesco has been advising, for over ten years, national private companies, including regulated companies, and multinational corporations in relation to significant investments in real estate assets for purposes related to retail (with particular regard to shopping centres, business parks and outlets), hotellerie and leisure, student accomodation, as well as for industrial and logistics purposes. Francesco also provides advice on privacy and ESG issues and acts as DPO for private companies and institutional investors.

Rosaria Arancio, with her team, will coordinate the energy practice, in which she has always specialized, being by now one of the most esteemed professionals in this sector with a great deal of experience with national and international clients.

Moreover, fully in line with the professional growth policy launched last year, the internal growth continues: Donatella de Lieto Vollaro, who has always specialized in financial law in relation to capital market transactions, mainly equity, becomes an equity partner; Cristiano Chiofalo, with a well-established experience in administrative law, becomes an income partner; Angelo Alfonso Speranza - one of the most proactive and experienced young professionals in the banking and finance sector - becomes an income partner. Together with the above professionals, also Simona Cornaglia, Francesca Romana Ferro, Giulia Lovaste, Fabrizia Pellone and Giada Salvini will be the new Grimaldi Alliance counsels.

The presence of the Grimaldi Alliance in the field of public financing, PNRR and the new EU programming, supporting the growth of the country's production system and the Public Administration's infrastructural activities, has been further strengthened with the addition of new outstanding professionals who will join the PNRR team coordinated by Prof. Bernardo Giorgio Mattarella: senior advisor Lina D'Amato, based in Rome, a great expert in public finance with significant experience in industrial policy and access to public funding; senior advisor Riccardo Fontanelli, based in Rome, a great expert in technology and innovation in the field of start-ups and SMEs; senior advisor Andrea Caraffini, based in Parma and Milan, with significant experience in development contracts and access to public grants.
