GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ has advised Crosby Group (Crosby) on the acquisition of Schmiedestück-Vertrieb Feuerstein (Feubo), Hattingen/Germany, a global leader in innovating, developing, and selling offshore mooring components for the oil and gas and wind energy markets.
Oliver Feuerstein, the CEO of Feubo, will continue to lead the Feubo team and operation. The facility in Hattingen will become the key engineering and innovation center as well as Crosby's center of excellence for mooring components. Feuerstein said that the acquisition was an exciting new chapter for the company, its employees as well as its customers. With Crosby’s global presence, Feubo will be put into the position to increase its reach and increase the pace of innovation. He also added Crosby and Feubo shared the same values: safety, reliability and innovation.
Crosby intends to expand its offshore product portfolio and end market reach with this acquisition. Feubo's position as a leader and innovator in mooring components, and the opportunity to leverage its world-class engineering and innovation competency, made this acquisition a compelling addition to Crosby.
