Rome, September 11, 2023 – International law firm Gianni & Origoni announces the hire of Alessio Palumbo, a professional active in the structured finance and securitization sector, who will join the Banking and Financial Law department as Counsel. Alongside Alessio, the firm also welcomes associate Leandro Leone.

 

Alessio has a long and solid experience in transfer of receivables and more generally in structured finance. With reference to the latter, he mainly deals with securitisation transactions, assisting domestic and international banks in performing and non-performing loans transactions. He has assisted originators and arrangers in the context of derisking transactions with high systemic value, such as securitization transactions whose senior tranches are backed by Italian state guarantee (GACS). He also has extensive experience in securitisations in restructuring context, real estate securitisations and in securitisation transactions aimed to acquire the companies’ shareholdings, as well as in basket bond and covered bonds transactions.

 

Before joining Gianni & Origoni, Alessio worked at Chiomenti law firm, and previously in other leading international firms.
