Fox Mandal & Associates (FMA) announces the integration of Mr. Shourya Mandal and his team into the firm. One of the Kolkata branches and the Ahmedabad branch of Mr. Mandal’s erstwhile firm, with 20 lawyers and other staff members, will now work as part of FMA. Shourya Mandal has been designated as Co-Managing Partner of the firm to augment the horizons of the firm’s leadership. Apart from leading the Kolkata office, he would be particularly responsible for the operations of FMA in the Delhi and Ahmedabad offices.

Orijit Chatterjee, Sumit Dhar and Prerona Sil, who have recently resigned as partners of Fox & Mandal LLP, have joined FMA as partners. In addition, the firm has elevated to partners, Arindam Guha, Ashish Sharma and Sreya Basu Mallick, who have also recently moved from Fox & Mandal.

Shourya Mandal qualified as a solicitor in Bombay in 1993 and was also admitted to practice as a solicitor in England. An active member of renowned industry bodies, Shourya has been named as a leading individual in the field of corporate and M&A matters by Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal for many years. He had been working as a partner with Fox & Mandal for more than 22 years.

Shuva Mandal and Shourya Mandal are both 4th generation lawyers and great-grandsons of Mr. G. C. Mandal, who was the founder of Fox & Mandal in 1896 with Mr. J. K. Fox.
