We are pleased to announce that the Antitrust Commission of INDECOPI has authorized our client Patagonia Holdco LLC, a company that is part of the Stonepeak Partners group, to acquire CenturyLink Peru. CenturyLink Perú is a company engaged in the provision of telecommunications and information technology services in the Peruvian market. This transaction is part of the regional sale that the Lumen Group has agreed with Stonepeak Partners Group in Latin America, as announced in July 2021.
This case represents an important milestone in the Peruvian legal market as it is the first transaction notified and approved under the new merger control regime implemented in June of this year.
