The corporate and M&A team of Finocchio & Ustra Sociedade de Advogados advised the quotaholders of Cinergis Agronegócios Ltda. and Ghenvet Biotecnologia Ltda. on the sale of 100% of their equity interest to Oligo Basics Nutrição Animal Ltda., the Brazilian subsidiary of Innovad Group, a global group active in animal health and nutrition.
As a result of the transaction, Cinergis and Ghenvet now become part of Innovad Group, combining their expertise in animal health, nutrition and biotechnology with Innovad Group’s global capabilities. The transaction strengthens Innovad Group’s platform in Brazil and Latin America, expanding its portfolio of solutions and adding complementary research, development and production capabilities, reinforcing its role in innovation and sustainable animal production.
The transaction was led by Andrea Tincani, partner in the Corporate and M&A team, with the participation of Rachel Cerqueira Marques, Larissa Pereira Lino, Kaique Santhiago da Costa Afonso Geraldo and Fernanda dos Santos, all associate lawyers at FIUS Advogados.
