FALP. Real estate acquisitions
1. Deal Description
Guerrero Olivos represented the most relevant cancer institute in Chile, Fundación Arturo López Pérez (“FALP”). FALP is a non-profit organization incorporated on 1954 for the research and treatment of cancer. They operate with high quality technology and offer a wide range of services and treatments with great success.
Our corporate, real estate and environmental teams represented FALP in the acquisition of 3 buildings in the context of an expansion plan to develop and operate hospitals for cancer treatments. Two of the buildings are located in Viña del Mar, in the borough of Valparaíso and were acquired from the Children’s Hospital of Villa del Mar and the other, was owned by Automotora Británica and is located in Santiago.
This interdisciplinary team worked in the due diligence, real estate analysis and environmental preliminary reports on permitting and construction issues and in the negotiation, drafting and execution of all the set of agreements including acquisition agreements and collateral.
