Estudio Echecopar, member firm of Baker McKenzie International, advised Compañía Eléctrica El Platanal S.A. on a loan for USD 75'000,000.00 granted by Banco de Crédito e Inversiones (Miami Branch) in order to partially finance the acquisition of (i) 100% of the shares issued by Termochilca S.A., (ii) the collection rights corresponding to a sindicate of lenders derived from account receivables under certain loan agreements, and (iii) all of certain corporate bonds issued by Termochilca S.A.
