Mexico City, May 2, 2024 - The law firm, Pérez Correa González (PCG), adds Emilio Carrillo Peñafiel as its new Partner to strengthen the Banking and Finance, Fintech, Mergers and Acquisitions practices. This incorporation is aligned with the firm's strategy, focused on the current needs of the market and its clients, to promote and arrange businesses in which the firm can participate providing legal certainty.
Emilio Carrillo Peñafiel, a legal expert specializing in key areas with more than three decades of experience in law, economics, and finance, has left a significant mark in the business and regulatory world.
His career includes prominent roles as Partner at Carrillo Gamboa Law Firm where he was a specialist in activities and legislation governing financing and M&A operations, actively participated in Cross-border and private transactions whose amounts involved, in aggregate, more than $8 billion dollars, also participating in government institutions and advising leading organizations in various sectors. As general director of special projects in the Economic Deregulation Unit of the Ministry of Industrial Commerce, he played a crucial role in the negotiation of new regulations in areas such as natural gas, telecommunications, and commercial bankruptcy.
