In recognition of the exceptional quality of both the thesis and the oral examination, Eduardo was awarded the distinction of Outstanding Professional Examination and Outstanding Thesis with Honorable Mention (Mención Honorífica por Examen Profesional Sobresaliente y Tesis Sobresaliente).

Eduardo's thesis examines the regulatory framework of Indexed Fiduciary Stock Certificates, (Certificados Bursátiles Fiduciarios Indizados Activos, CBFIs). These are analogous to Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) in Mexico.

The examination panel was composed of distinguished specialists in commercial and financial law: Licenciado José Roble Flores Fernández, Emeritus Director of the Facultad Libre de Derecho de Monterrey, having led the institution for 25 years and a recognized authority in the area in México; Licenciado Ciro Petricciuolo, specialist in the area; and Licenciado José Carlos Reyes Cadena, Eduardo's thesis advisor and Commercial Public Broker (Corredor Público) specialist in the area.

We congratulate Eduardo on this achievement and look forward to his continued contributions in the field of cross-border finance and comparative law.
