Paris, April 19, 2023, Jeantet is pleased to announce the appointment of Benjamin Cohu (securities law), Océane Demoulin (employment law), Victor Mollet (employment law), Marie Robin (financial litigation and crowdfunding) and François-Xavier Simeoni (tax law) as counsels.


Benjamin Cohu (securities law), 37, joined Jeantet’s Capital Markets practice in 2017. Alongside Cyril Deniaud, he advises both French and foreign listed issuers and investors on all types of transactions (capital increases, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers) and has developed specific expertise in the issuance and renegotiation of complex securities. Benjamin Cohu is a lawyer whose skills, as acknowledged by this appointment, will allow him to meet the growing needs of Jeantet’s clients in the field of securities law.


Océane Demoulin (employment law), 35, joined Jeantet in 2013 and works alongside Laetitia Ternisien. She offers a particularly sophisticated expertise in both advisory and litigation matters. She assists her French and international clients with individual and collective labor relations issues as well as litigation. Océane advises on the social management of corporate restructurings and companies in difficulty. She also assists her clients in their growth strategy, compliance, and recurring or specific labor law issues. Océane’s appointment as counsel strengthens Jeantet’s employment law practice, both in France and internationally.


Victor Mollet (employment law), 35, joined the firm in 2020 and has been practicing alongside Nicolas Mancret for several years. He advises national and international groups and companies on all issues related to collective and individual labor relations. Victor also assists his clients in restructuring (PSE, voluntary redundancy plan, collective performance agreement, GEPP (management of employment and career development) and collective litigation. Victor’s appointment strengthens the expertise of the employment practice in restructuring and collective relations.


Marie Robin (financial litigation and crowdfunding), 32, joined Jeantet in 2019 in the Capital Markets practice alongside Frank Martin Laprade. She has acquired expertise in stock market and more broadly financial litigation, which is in line with her previous experience in the financial litigation, regulatory and criminal business law departments of international law firms. Marie was also an independent director of a company listed on Euronext and has been a director of a FinTech since 2023. Marie has developed an advisory and litigation practice for equity crowdfunding platforms over the past 4 years, and has become one of the leading lawyers in this fast-growing market.


François-Xavier Simeoni (tax law), 35, joined Jeantet in 2016 in the tax practice. His expertise includes M&A and private equity transactions, as well as assisting managers/employees in the management of their investments/assets. He has also developed extensive knowledge of tax audits and litigation and assists French and foreign tax residents, companies and individuals, with their international tax issues. François-Xavier’s appointment as counsel confirms Jeantet’s desire to consolidate its expertise in tax matters, in particular in assisting its clients with all tax aspects of transactional operations.
