DZP, in cooperation with Sorainen, has advised Renta Group Oy, a Finnish company engaged in the rental of construction machinery and equipment in Northern Europe, on the acquisition of SIA Uprent Group, a leading provider of drainage and sewage bypass solutions in the Baltic countries. The Group consists of four companies located in Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
With the transaction, our client will strengthen its market position by expanding its presence into further Northern European countries, which is one of the key objectives of its strategy. The solutions offered by Uprent to date are particularly relevant in this region due to the nature of the terrain and the resulting construction needs.
DZP’s advice included comprehensive legal services for the transaction, including conducting a due diligence, coordinating the due diligence of companies in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, preparing and negotiating documentation and closing the transaction.
