DWF lawyers in Poland advised KGAL, a German investment and asset manager, on the sale of the Polish wind farm portfolio to a subsidiary of Octopus Energy
The transaction concerned a portfolio comprising four special purpose vehicles managing wind power assets with a total installed capacity of 74.9 MW.
DWF provided comprehensive legal support throughout all stages of the transaction, including vendor due diligence, support during negotiations, assistance with closing, as well as advice on investment financing and amendments to the financing documentation of the projects operated by the portfolio companies.
The project was handled by a multidisciplinary DWF Poland team, supervised by Dr Karol Lasocki, Partner and Head of the Renewable Energy Department. The transaction was led by Katarzyna Stefaniak, Senior Associate with the support of Prof. ucz. dr hab. Rafał Woźniak, Partner from the Corporate and M&A Department.
