DWF advises Augusta Energy on the sale of wind and solar projects in Poland

The transaction comprises two wind farms with a total capacity of 50 MW and six solar plants totalling 48 MW. All projects are currently under construction and are part of a 15-year power purchase agreement with T-Mobile Polska. The projects are expected to be commissioned in 2023.

DWF advisory included drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation. The project was supervised by Dr Karol Lasocki, Partner, Head of the Renewable Energy Department, and Dr Rafał Woźniak, Partner from the Corporate and M&A Department. The team involved in the project also included: Agnieszka Chylińska, Counsel, Krzysztof Jagiełło, Senior Associate, Patrycja Figuła, Associate and Mateusz Bąk, Associate.

Augusta Energy, which has signed a preliminary project sale agreement with Iberdrola, is a joint venture between KGAL, a German asset management company, and V-RIDIUM Power Group, a subsidiary of GreenVolt Energias Renováveis.
