DTB Reported that Zagreb Stock Exchange and Estonian start-up company Funderbeam set up a joint company Funderbeam South-East Europe which is to become the first start-up stock exchange in Croatia and the region. The company should become fully operative by the end of the year and should attract start-ups from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and the rest of the region.

Ivana Gažić, ZSE CEO says they have decided to pursue partnership with Funderbeam due to their desire to expand their business model. Funderbeam is the first and only platform in the world where growth companies are funded and traded across borders.

This project is part of the ZSE's long-term strategy to support companies at all stages of development: from start-ups to small and medium-sized enterprises, and finally a regulated market.

The ZSE said it aims to be a major driver in developing long-term sustainable growth of business for the whole of South-East Europe.
