With the publication of the DORA Regulation at the end of 2022, the three European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) were mandated to develop a set of regulatory instruments aiming to materialising and densifying the digital operational resilience framework established by that Regulation.
Thus, following the public consultation of the First Package of Regulatory Instruments (RTS), launched in June 2023 and expected to be published in January 2023, the ESAs have launched a new public consultation.
This public consultation on the Second Package of Regulatory Instruments (RTS), launched on 8 December 2023, will be available until 4 March 2024 and will cover issues such as supervisory harmonisation and cooperation, the reporting of serious incidents and the costs and losses resulting thereof, and the outsourcing of IT services.
Therefore, the ESAs invite the financial entities covered by the DORA Regulation, as well as IT service providers, to participate in the public hearing to be held on 23 January 2024, to present the documents relating to this public consultation and to gather opinions from participants. Registration is available here until 18 January.
The documentation related to this public consultation is available here.
