Dentons Link Legal is pleased to further bolster its Capital Markets practice with the addition of Timothy Franklyn as Partner, who will be based out of the Firm's Bengaluru office.
Timothy brings over two decades of experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border capital markets and corporate finance transactions, further enhancing the Firm’s capabilities in Indian and international securities offerings. He has previously worked with various international law firms, including DLA Piper, A&O Sherman, and Jones Day, where he advised government bodies, multinational corporations, and global financial institutions on high-value cross-border transactions.
His experience spans initial public offerings, qualified institutional placements, rights issues, high-yield bonds, convertible bonds, medium-term note programmes, and cross-border securities offerings under Rule 144A and Regulation S. He is particularly recognized for leading sophisticated multi-jurisdictional transactions involving complex international regulatory and securities law considerations.
Timothy is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and is qualified as an Advocate in India and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales.
