Global law firm Dentons, with a team led by Oliver Dreher, has again advised the Bundesrepublik Deutschland – Finanzagentur GmbH on the successful placement of a syndicated Federal Bond. An existing Federal Bond was increased via the syndicate by € 4 billion, bringing its total volume to €10.5 billion. The federal bond has a 30-year term and an interest rate of 1.80 percent.

The placement with national and international investors was made by a syndicate of banks led by Citi, Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Nomura.

Oliver Dreher and his team previously advised the Bundesrepublik Deutschland – Finanzagentur GmbH on numerous capital market transactions in the past, including a US dollar bond with a volume of US$4 billion, and the syndicated issuances of various conventional and green German Federal Securities (most recently on the €4 billion placement of a syndicated Federal Bond).
