October 26, 2020 - GEODIS, a world leader in transportation and logistics, concluded an agreement with Innova Capital to acquire PEKAES.
Created in 1958, PEKAES operates one of the main FTL (Full truckload) and LTL (Less than truckload) networks in Poland for palletized freight. This transaction, that remains subject to regulatory authorizations, significantly reinforces GEODIS’ presence in Poland, a strategic region for the group’s development.
In Geodis’ legal department, the transaction was led by Albertine Hanin, Group Legal and Insurance Director, and Eric Boré, Corporate Legal Director.
In Geodis’ Financial Department, the deal was led by Amaury Valicon, Group Financial Director, and Alain Przewozny, Director of Corporate Development.
Dentons set up a cross-border transaction team, experienced in international development operations, to support Geodis.
