Denny Shupe received a special commendation award from the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) at the 2021 Annual Meeting, recognizing Shupe and four other ACTL leaders for “invaluable service on behalf of veterans.”
The award reflects Shupe’s “tireless service” as one of the leaders in ACTL’s nationwide effort to develop and implement a groundbreaking project to address the national problem of the Veteran Administration’s over four year backlog in processing and deciding disability award appeals for our country’s military veterans, delays that deny constitutional due process and can deny veterans the financial resources they need for daily living.
Shupe is an Air Force Academy graduate and retired Air Force officer and command pilot. He is an ACTL Fellow and formerly chaired ACTL’s Special Problems in the Administration of Justice Committee (U.S.).
