De Pardieu has advised the banking pool, comprising 51 institutions respectively belonging to the French banking groups BNP Paribas, BPCE, Crédit Agricole, Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, La Banque Postale and Société Générale (the “G6”), on the arrangement of new financings by the G6 banks and third-party investors totaling € 3.15 billion for the benefit of emeis, a leading provider of services dedicated to individuals with loss of autonomy and, more broadly, dependent elderly people. These new financings in particular enable to refinance the loans A, B, C and D previously made available notably by the G6.
These new financings enable the early repayment of existing loans, including those provided by the G6, thereby giving emeis the opportunity to seek an early exit from its Accelerated Safeguard Plan before the competent court.
