Based in Kyiv, Daniel will be working closely with Kinstellar’s regional and local management and business development teams regarding strategic and business development initiatives across the region for the firm as a whole.
A Canadian-qualified lawyer with almost 30 years of professional experience in CEE, Daniel was most recently chief investment adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and headed UkraineInvest, the Ukrainian government’s investment promotion agency created to engage with the international investor community and attract foreign direct investment to the country.
Daniel was previously managing partner of the Ukraine office of the global law firm CMS Cameron McKenna, where he advised major international and Ukrainian businesses in the energy, agribusiness, infrastructure and technology sectors. He also acted as Counsel to the Business Ombudsman Institution in Ukraine and served as a senior United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) governance expert to the governments of Bulgaria and Lithuania, as well as Ukraine.
