Australia’s leading independent law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, has announced that Michelle Gordon, Kate Donald and Jey Nandacumaran have been promoted to the partnership, effective 1 July 2023.

Michelle Gordon: Restructuring, Insolvency and Special Situations, Sydney

Michelle is an insolvency lawyer with specialist expertise in contentious insolvency and commercial disputes. Michelle has extensive experience acting for alternate capital providers, creditors, financial sponsors and financial institutions both domestically and internationally as well as external administrators and insolvent companies.


Kate Donald: Intellectual Property, Sydney

Kate is an IP and patent litigator specialising in large-scale patent disputes. She has particular experience in the life sciences sector but also works with clients across the technology and manufacturing sectors.


Jey Nandacumaran: Projects and Arbitration, Melbourne

Jey is a projects lawyer with expertise advising private and government clients in the management and resolution of complex projects disputes. Jey acts in trial and appellate litigation, commercial arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. He also has experience providing advice during the life of projects to avoid or minimise the incidence of disputes.
