CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang (CMNO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Plachy as Counsel and Head of Dispute Resolution in its Bratislava office. Peter joins the firm from A&O Shearman.

Peter has over a decade of experience in advising clients on high-stakes disputes, often involving complex cross-border elements. He has acted as counsel in both commercial and investment treaty arbitrations and has represented clients before all instances of the Slovak courts. He has been involved in arbitrations administered by leading arbitration institutions, including the ICC, LCIA, VIAC and ICSID. Peter has particular experience in representing clients in corporate and post-M&A disputes, as well as in disputes in the energy, oil and gas, insurance, hospitality, technology and automotive sectors.
