Brannock Humphries & Berman shareholder Ceci Berman has been appointed by the incoming President of the Florida Bar, Dori Foster-Morales, to serve as Chair of the prestigious committee that is responsible for proposing amendments to the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
Ms. Berman has steadily risen through the leadership ranks since her appointment to the Civil Procedure Rules Committee in 2016. She currently serves as a Vice Chair of the Committee and as the Chair of the Drafting Subcommittee. She also previously served as Secretary of the Committee. Effective July 1, 2020, she will now assume the top leadership role for the forty-six-member Committee.
