Capital Law is very pleased to have advised Porthcawl Harbourside Community Interest Company on a £7 million regeneration project at Porthcawl Harbour.
The exciting new project will look to rejuvenate the town through the construction of a bespoke mixed-use building. Chair and Director Mike Clarke described the building as a “bustling centre of activity and a magnet for tourists” and will provide water sports facilities, community hub, coastal science centre, café, and an outdoor theatre.
Capital Law’s team advised on the property, construction, and procurement elements of the project, which received funding from Big Lottery, WEFO and the Coastal Communities Fund.
Work is scheduled to begin in mid 2017, with the building expected to open by 2018 or 2019.
