Mexico City, February 2020.- Cannizzo, through its partner Enrique García and the associate Emiliano Quiróz, acted as the Mexican counsel of The Friedkin Group, buyer of the second stage of Chileno Bay Resort Hotel for USD 16 million dollars. This transaction involved different jurisdictions: United States of America and Mexico.

Chileno Bay Resort Hotel, located in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, is part of Auberge Resorts Collection, headquartered in the United States, whose portfolio has extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs around the world
As a result of this transaction, The Friedkin Group added the second Stage of the Chileno Bay Resort Hotel to its hotels portfolio in Mexico operating such hotel under the brand of Auberge Resorts Collection. Other law firms involved in the transaction were Ballard Spahr LLP (US), Locke Lord LLP (US) and TP Legal Group (MX).
