Harrogate law firm Berwins has appointed two associate directors to support the expansion of its life and business departments.
Life solicitor Gareth Marland and Mike Patterson, a specialist in employment law, are both recognised as leaders in their field in the current edition and 2017 issue of the legal guide Chambers UK.
Gareth joined Berwins' life team in 2008 and advises on all areas of private client law including inheritance tax, trusts, Court of Protection and wills. He has particular interest in advising farming families and business owners.
Mike has worked in private practice, industry and local government and is a member of the firm’s business team.
