Bernitsas acted as Greek law counsel to Jefferies GmbH, Piraeus Bank, Eurobank and Euroxx Securities in connection with TRASTOR REIC’s €150m successful equity capital raising, pursuant to a combined offering of 150m new ordinary shares to retail and qualified investors in Greece and a private placement to international qualified, institutional and other eligible investors outside Greece, as well as the listing of such shares on Euronext Athens.
Trastor is the first Greek REIC. The transaction attracted significant investor demand, was oversubscribed by approximately 1.45 times and helped TRASTOR to achieve a minimum free float of c. 16% and raise funds to support its investment programme.
