Beccar Varela advised Quintana E&P Argentina S.R.L. (“Quintana”) y TSB S.A. (“TSB”) on the tender process launched by YPF S.A. for the transfer of mature blocks, known as the Andes Project. In this process, PS Energy was awarded the Mendoza Sur cluster, which includes El Portón, Chihuido de la Salina, Altiplanicie del Payún, Cañadón Amarillo, Chihuido de la Salina Sur and Confluencia Sur oil & gas concessions, all located in the provinces of Mendoza and Neuquén. The contract for the assignment of hydrocarbon rights was signed on August 14th. The effective transfer of the cluster to Quintana and TSB is still subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions. The parties have not disclosed the value of the agreement.

 

Quintana is a company with extensive experience in the development of oil and gas exploration and production activities, currently focused on the exploitation of conventional reservoirs in the provinces of Santa Cruz, Mendoza, Río Negro, and Neuquén.

 

TSB has two decades of experience in the oil industry. Its business lines offer services that include liquid and solid cargo transportation, solids control, earthmoving, and environmental services.
